Superstar guard Steph Curry has spent his entire NBA career with the Golden State Warriors thus far, and he’s been incredibly successful with the team ever since they selected him out of Davidson with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
Over the course of the past decade or so, Curry has done some remarkable things in the Bay Area, as many credit him for singlehandedly changing the game, with every team in the league now emphasizing shooting from beyond the arc.
Although he’s done something that few superstars in the past can say by changing the way the game is played, he’s also been part of a dynasty with the Warriors, with the storied franchise winning four titles with him at the helm.
With the start of the 2023-24 NBA season around the corner, Curry was asked by Complex Sports about his favorite moment of the dynasty thus far, and he didn’t hesitate to say it was the last title the team won.
Although the Warriors always seem to put a competitive team on the floor during the Curry era, Golden State wasn’t the same powerhouse of old heading into the 2021-22 campaign, with many believing the dynasty was likely over or at least in decline.
Obviously, Curry and company proved that they’ve still got something left in the tank, as they were able to make their way through the NBA playoffs to get to the NBA Finals and make easy work of the Boston Celtics.
After a second-round loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the postseason recently, the talk of a decline has started again, giving Curry and his crew in San Francisco some more motivation to prove their doubters wrong once again next season.
