Steph Curry Responds to Warriors’ Significant Victory Against Heat

The Golden State Warriors badly needed a win against the Miami Heat last night, and they went onto enemy territory and did exactly that.

It was the first time in a long time that the Golden State Warriors looked like the dominant team they were capable of being. It’s the type of basketball Steph Curry wants to see more of.

“Just play a brand of basketball like we did tonight,” Curry said. “We were, in the second half, a lot more disciplined, a lot more physical on defense. We took care of the basketball, which is a big deal for us the way that we play. Cut the turnovers down, created some really good looks.

One thing Steph Curry knows to do though, is to not get too high or too low with wins and losses. It was just one win against the Miami Heat, and they immediately have the Orlando Magic coming up next.

“But we can’t get you ahead of ourselves,” Curry said. “Just take it … a game at time. Honestly, that’s our only way to get to where we want to go.”

Regardless of the opponent, every single game is going to be an important one for the Golden State Warriors. With the Houston Rockets currently on a nine-game winning streak, the Warriors are in an incredibly dire situation. It all gets solved one game at a time.
