Steph Curry Teams Up with Two WNBA Stars for On-Court Action

Over the years, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has been a big supporter of the WNBA.

He has been spotted numerous times sitting courtside during games and has also had long chats with the league’s biggest players.

Curry was on hand as the Las Vegas Aces and Phoenix Mercury played their final regular season game on Sunday.

A tweet from the Warriors showed Curry chatting with both Kelsey Plum and A’ja Wilson of the Aces.

“Game recognize game,” the post read.

Having Curry in the building must have been good luck for the Aces.

They won the game, 100-85, and are favored to go very far in the WNBA playoffs, which start on September 14.

The WNBA has been growing quite a lot over the last few years.

There are now several stars, such as Plum and Wilson, who are raising the league’s profile.

Additionally, the WNBA has struck several big television deals that are bringing them millions of new fans.

Meanwhile, NBA stars such as Curry and others are doing their part too.

Curry sitting courtside creates viral images and moments like the one above, which only garners more viewers and supporters.

Curry will definitely be watching the WNBA playoffs when they get started but he will have less time as the postseason continues.

That’s because he will soon be at training camp for his Warriors, preparing for the 2023-24 season.

After a disappointing playoff run that saw the Warriors fall in the second round, Golden State is intent on finding more success in the season ahead.

Right now, Curry is enjoying his time as a basketball fan but in a few weeks, he will be back in the hunt for another championship.
