Steph Curry has done it all in his illustrious career. He’s a four-time NBA Champion, an NBA Finals MVP, a two-time NBA MVP, a nine-time NBA All-Star, a two-time NBA Scoring Champion, the all-time leading three-point shooter, and even more. Despite all of the accolades, there’s one thing Steph Curry hasn’t done – be a part of the Olympics.
During the Warriors Media Day, Curry was asked about joining the Olympics now that LeBron James and Kevin Durant have committed to the team. While Steph Curry didn’t completely say yes, he gave a very confident answer.
“I talked to some people about the opportunity, and definitely if all things stay the same, I want to be playing,” Curry said. “It’s the one thing I haven’t done, and also I understand the opportunity for Team USA to kinda reassert itself as the most dominant in the world and all that kind of stuff. I definitely want to be there. I definitely want to be on the team. Hopefully, things line up that way where we’re all there.”
Steph Curry, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant all being on the same Olympic team would truly be a sight to behold. It’ll likely be the last time all three of them will even be available to be on the team, so it would be a Last Dance of sorts for everyone on the team. Hopefully, everything lines up in a way that allows it to happen.
