The Golden State Warriors are facing the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night, and star point guard Steph Curry is listed as available to play. This is the second half of a back-to-back set for Golden State, but Curry is not listed on the injury report, meaning he is good to go.
Curry does not typically sit out one half of back-to-back sets, but has done so once this season when the team determined he needed a game off. Curry played 32 minutes in a win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night, finishing with 20 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds. It was not the best shooting game for Curry, who went just 6/16 from the field, but he was able to do enough to get a win over the shorthanded Grizzlies.
This game against the Hawks projects to be a bit more difficult for Golden State than their win over Memphis was, as Atlanta is coming off an impressive win over the Phoenix Suns. This win extended Atlanta’s winning streak to three games, which has them currently hanging onto the final play-in spot in the Eastern Conference. As for Golden State, they have won two-straight games, and remain in pursuit of a play-in spot.
The Warriors and Hawks will begin at 4:30 PM PST, with both teams looking to extend their modest winning streaks.
