On Sunday evening, the Golden State Warriors hosted the Toronto Raptors in San Francisco.
The Raptors had control for the entire night and won by a score of 133-118.
Steph Curry had arguably his worst game of the season, and finished the matchup with nine points, one rebound and six assists while shooting 2/14 from the field and 0/9 from the three-point range in 30 minutes of playing time.
After the game, Curry met with the media and shared an honest quote about how the game started (h/t 95.7 The Game).
Curry: “We got punk’d from the jump. Not the way that you want to come out. It was a rough one.”
While the two-time MVP had a tough night, he is still the team’s best player (by far) and is averaging 27.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per contest while shooting 45.0% from the field and 39.8% from the three-point range in 34 games.
With the loss, the Warriors dropped to 17-19 in their first 36 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games and 11-10 in the 21 games they have played at the Chase Center.
Following the Raptors, the Warriors will host the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.
As for the Raptors, they improved to 15-21 in their first 36 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 4-6 over their last ten games and will play their next game on Tuesday when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers.
