Stephen and Ayesha Curry Announce Their Fourth Child and Give Him a Special Name

Ayesha Curry and NBA star Stephen Curry welcomed their fourth baby earlier than expected and announced the news via Instagram.

“Our sweet baby boy decided to make an early arrival!! He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!” the couple shared in a joint post on May 26, 2024, along with a photo showing a close-up of the baby’s hand.

The birth comes two months after Ayesha announced she was pregnant in March 2024, on the cover of Sweet July, the magazine of her lifestyle brand of the same name. She explained what led to their decision to add another child to their family.

“For so many years, Stephen and I thought we were done. We said, ‘Three, that’s it, we’re not doing this again,’” she shared. “And then, last year, we looked at each other and agreed we wanted to do this again. For me, the decision came from always finding myself looking around and feeling like somebody was missing.”

The famous pair, who met as teenagers in their North Carolina hometown, is also parents to daughters Riley, 11, and Ryan, 8, as well as son Canon, 5.

Ayesha previously told Parents she and her husband, who launched the Eat. Learn. Play. foundation in 2019, are working hard to teach their kids to love to give back.

“I feel like it’s just a part of the way that we’re raising them. It’s a part of the way that we were raised,” she said. “And so, it’s becoming a part of our DNA now, which I think is really important for us to instill in our children so that it can be passed down from generation to generation.”
