The Beekeeper confirms the premiere date at Sky Cinema

Jason Statham’s The Beekeeper will be coming to Sky Cinema very soon.

It has been announced that the action thriller will make its debut on Sky Cinema and NOW on Friday, March 8. It’s a great time to look into your options for a Sky Stream subscription, especially since some rates will be changing.

The Beekeeper recently arrived in cinemas with a Rated Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 92% audience approval rating on the site.

Fast & Furious star Statham is out for revenge in the movie, when he discovers his landlady Eloise has killed herself after losing all of her money in a phishing scam.

Unfortunately for the scammers, Statham is a former member of the clandestine organisation Beekeeper — so he wages a brutal war of vengeance in memory of his late friend.

The film also features Creed III’s Phylicia Rashad as the tragic landlady, as well as The Umbrella Academy’s Emmy Raver-Lampman as FBI agent Verona Parker and Five Nights at Freddy’s star Josh Hutcherson in a rare villainous turn as the scammer Derek Danforth.

The Beekeeper premiered in UK and US cinemas last month, making an impressive $144 million against a modest $40 million budget.

Penned by Statham’s Expend4bles writer Kurt Wimmer, The Beekeeper also marks a return to form for Suicide Squad and The Tax Collector director David Ayer.

Ayer is due to re-team with Statham on the action movie Levon’s Trade, based on a script adapted by Sylvester Stallone from a novel. Statham will lead the film as a retired counterterrorism agent called back into the line of duty to save a missing girl.

The beginning of next month will be an exciting time for Sky Stream subscribers because Adam Driver’s sports drama Ferrari is also scheduled to premiere on Sky Cinema on March 1.
