The “Coolest” Attraction at Michael Jordan’s Golf Club Had “That Sounds Like MJ’s Place,” shook Tony Finau.

While his basketball career is the epitome of all sports careers, Michael Jordan’s fascination with other sports is something to behold. One interest that was purely born out of comfort and leisure is his love for golf. While it led to occasional sprints with the clubs, that love has given way to a remarkable estate. One that even has pro golfers marveling over its luxury. Tony Finau has had a long-standing history with Jordan. A friendship that, by his own account, began more than a decade ago, continues to grow strong.

Moreover, in Finau’s own words, “He’s always been incredible to me.” As a result, the golfing superstar can regularly be seen sporting Jordans on the course. But, over the years, meetings between the two have gotten scarce, except at The Grove XXIII. An invite-only club owned by the Chicago Bulls legend, it is a highly exclusive site. However, there is one particular thing that fascinates Finau about the club.

“One of the coolest things about his Club is you can drive your golf cart anywhere. Like, there are no cart paths or any of that. So, it’s one of the cooler clubs.” However, one modern feature is even more impressive, giving The Grove that Michael Jordan tag.

“I don’t know if you guys saw videos. Like, a video went viral where they drone in food…So you can order that and it comes in on a drone. That sounds like MJ’s place.”

However, during the interview, one key difference between Michael the golfer and Michael the baller came to light.

Golf brings out a different Michael Jordan
Despite a stellar basketball career, it was the former Charlotte Hornets owner’s competitive fire that became his defining characteristic. But, while that competition sometimes even drove teammates mad on the hardwood floor, Mike is a different animal on the golf circuit.

Rather than his usual fire, the 6x NBA Champion is aware of his limitations. As a result, rather than try to take on pro golfers directly, he tends to take a couple of shots per side. But that passion for the sport also helps build a connection to these golfers.

Moreover, an impeccable memory does help the 5x NBA MVP in maintaining a strong bond with people like Finau, further endearing him to them. While he may not be as successful on the golf course as on the basketball court, his love for the sport continues to shine.
