On Sunday evening, the Golden State Warriors faced off with the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
The Timberwolves won the game by a score of 116-110 and Anthony Edwards had 33 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals while shooting 11/27 from the field in 38 minutes.
Meanwhile, the Warriors were led by Steph Curry, who had 38 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal while shooting 11/25 from the field and 5/13 from the three-point range in 36 minutes.
During the game, Curry made team history by moving up on the Warriors’ all-time free throws list.
The two-time MVP passed Hall of Famer Rick Barry (3,515) for second on the list, and the only player who remains in front of him is Paul Arizin (5,010).
Curry has now made 3,520 career free throws.
With the loss, the Warriors fell to 6-5 in their first 11 games and are now in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
They will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host the Timberwolves (again) at the Chase Center.
Even at 35, Curry still remains among the best ten players in the NBA and is coming off a season where he averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per contest while shooting 49.3% from the field and 42.7% from the three-point range.
The two-time MVP is in his 15th season and has led the Warriors to four NBA Championships (and six Finals appearances) over the previous nine seasons.
