The Golden State Warriors Modify Their Roster Twice

On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Oklahoma to face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Warriors are 4-1 in their first five games and coming off a 102-101 victory over the Sacramento Kings (at home on Wednesday).

Before Friday’s game against the Thunder, they announced two roster moves.

Podziemski was the 19th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and has played in one game so far this season.

In 23 minutes, he had five points, eight rebounds and two assists while shooting 2/5 from the field.

Jackson-Davis was the 57th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and has played in two games so far this season.

He is averaging 6.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per contest while shooting 55.6% from the field.

Following the Thunder, the Warriors will play their next game against the Cleveland Cavaliers (in Ohio) on Sunday.

Last season, they were the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record.

They beat the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in seven games) but lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round (in six games).
