Just like father, just like son! Jordan is a name often found in every household in the form of T-shirts, shoes, and much more. Named after basketball sensation, the brand is the primary reason behind the $3 million sale of Nike sneakers every five hours. But, the legacy started off with Michael Jordan is far from ending.
Similarly to Michael, his son, Marcus Jordan is keeping up with the legacy. In addition to launching his own line, the owner of Marcus Jordan’s sneaker Boutique has also partnered with Air Jordan on multiple occasions. Last month, Marcus linked up with his father’s brand to launch Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low.
Within hours of the launch, the sneakers started making waves online and garnered the attention of the swimming sensation Michael Phelps. After purchasing the comfortable yet stylish sneakers, Phelps could not resist appreciating Marcus for his fascinating creation. He immediately took it to his official Instagram account and penned, “These are so sick, Thx,” while tagging Marcus Jordan.
Phelps’s story acted as a cherry on top of the cake and eventually added to the sales of the 1Low “Rookie Card-Away” Raffle. Meanwhile, Marcus also promoted the sneakers on his official Instagram account. While posting a couple of pictures, he penned, “We put this s**t together like some puzzle pieces The @jumpman23 x @trophyroomstore 1 Low ‘Rookie Card – Away’ raffle is now open🎟️‼️ Enter ASAP for a chance to get your pair.” But promotion is not the only reason for the popularity of these sneakers.

Interestingly, the secret recipe for making these remarkable sneakers is none other than the advanced technology and design used in manufacturing. Marcus keeps it simple, using polyester fabric, and hitting on the mimic Old School jersey material. And this is something that adds to the sneaker’s comfort level.
Besides this, he decided to make the sneakers unique by keeping the colorways similar to his other sneakers. Meanwhile, he also added a unique twist to the shoes. While the new collection featured Michael Jordan’s iconic 1986 Fleer Basketball “Black Toe” Air Jordan 1, he reversed it by keeping it low. Moving on, Marcus seems to be hungrier than ever before. Now, the NBA Champion’s son plans to release “Away” via selected retailers sometime this year.
