The sale of Steph Curry’s previous Oakland penthouse brought in about $1.7 million

An Oakland, California, penthouse that was once owned by Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has hit the market for $1.689 million.

Curry, who’s considered to be one of the NBA’s greatest players of all time, and his wife, Ayesha, a cookbook author and TV personality, owned the home for nearly two years. They paid $1.475 million for the three-bedroom pad in 2012—not long after the point guard signed a four-year, $44 million contract extension with the Warriors—and sold it for $1.499 million in 2014, records with PropertyShark show.

“This one is a slam dunk,” said listing agent Karen Gartz of Compass, who brought the property, which is only two BART stops or a short ferry ride to San Francisco, to the market last week.

Lined with floor-to-ceiling windows that take in views of the San Francisco skyline, the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, Mount Tamalpais and downtown Oakland, the bayfront duplex spans almost 2,100 square feet.

The hub of the home, on the lower of the two floors, has an open floor plan with a living area, dining space and updated kitchen, as well as double-height ceilings. There’s also an office space, an abundance of outdoor space in the form of three balconies and a large patio, and three parking spaces with an EV charger, according to the listing.

The building itself offers its residents a 24-hour concierge, a fitness center, a club room, and a pool and spa.

The sellers, who couldn’t be reached for comment, have owned the home for the past decade, having snapped it up from the Currys when they sold it in 2014.
