On Sunday evening, the Golden State Warriors will face off against the Houston Rockets in Texas.
They are 1-1 in their first two games, and coming off a 122-114 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Friday (in Sacramento).
Steph Curry was brilliant, putting up 41 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting 14/19 from the field and 7/10 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.
However, Curry is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game with the Rockets.
Curry is coming off another stellar season where he averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per contest while shooting 49.3% from the field and 42.7% from the three-point range in 56 games.
The Warriors were the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record and defeated the Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in seven games).
However, they lost to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round (in six games).
Curry is in his 15th season in the NBA (all with the Warriors) and has career averages of 24.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 47.5% from the field and 42.8% from the three-point range in 884 regular season games.
He has also appeared in 147 NBA playoff games and has led the Warriors to four NBA Championships over the previous six seasons.
Following the Rockets, the Warriors will play their next game on Monday against the New Orleans Pelicans in Louisiana.
