While Trae Young and Steph Curry are much different players, there are some similarities between the two star point guards. With their willingness to shoot from anywhere on the court, Curry and Young can put opposing defenses in impossible positions, which helps make them so difficult to stop. This is a skill that Curry introduced to the NBA, and one that Young has continued to improve on.
Recently working out with the Golden State Warriors superstar, Young shared some exclusive footage from their session together that has fans excited for the upcoming season:
Young helped lead the Atlanta Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021, but has been unable to replicate that same team success since. With Curry and the Warriors consistently being in championship contention, Young is looking to model that same sustained success as the leader of his team.
As previously mentioned, Curry and Young are far from the same player, but it’s cool to see the Hawks star learning under arguably the greatest point guard in NBA history. These offseason workouts are pivotal in the development of NBA stars, especially when players like Curry are willing to share their knowledge with the next generation.
Always pouring into those who look up to him, Curry is one of the NBA’s best ambassadors, and has been for a long time.
