There’s plenty of talk going on right now about how Stephen Curry and his new-look Warriors will do next season given that they just acquired veteran point guard Chris Paul. But putting the offseason buzz aside for now, the four-time NBA champion is now redirecting our attention to his signature line with Under Armour (NYSE:UAA -1.77%) as he has just announced the return of his “Back to Back MVP” footwear pack. The capsule first launched in 2016 in celebration of the sharpshooter winning consecutive MVP honors, one of which he was named as the first-ever unanimous MVP winner.
The two-shoe range featured the Under Armour Curry 1 and Curry 2, both of which were treated with championship-inspired gilded accents. The former comes prepared with a white, black and gold upper and is highlighted by various career-inspired stats and mottos that relate to Curry, while the latter is fashioned with a more sleek gold-to-black gradient base layer and features gold detailing across the UA logos, “MVP” tongue hits and speckled midsoles.
These retro kicks will be packaged in special double-sliding boxes and release come June 30 via select Under Armour retailers and through Curry Brand.
For other news, Apple TV+ released the first trailer for Stephen Curry’s documentary Underrated.
