The Golden State Warriors’ struggles continued Monday night even with Draymond Green back on the floor.
In Green’s first game back from suspension, the Warriors lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 116-107. It marks the Warriors’ eighth loss in their last 11 games, and this loss might have been the worst during that stretch.
The Grizzlies were with out Ja Morant, Marcus Smart, Desmond Bane and a handful of other key players, yet they still managed to get past Golden State.
Steph Curry had 26 points, but fell short down the stretch. Klay Thompson had just nine points on the night, and Green had seven points and seven rebounds in his return.
After the game, NBA fans blasted the Warriors for their inability to beat a Grizzlies team missing more than half of its regular starters.

With the loss, the Warriors are now 18-21 and sit in 12th place in the Western Conference. It’s become abundantly clear Golden State needs a change if it wants to reach the playoffs, and it won’t be a surprise to see the Warriors try to make some moves before the trade deadline.
