WWE fans can find hope in Dwayne Johnson’s first interaction with Roman Reigns following their loss at WrestleMania 40.

WrestleMania 40 broke a slew of records, bringing in a whopping 145,298 spectators, leaving WrestleMania 39 in the dust. Night 1 of the event saw significant positive reviews, with the tag team of The Rock and Roman Reigns, collectively known as The Bloodline, besting Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, with the set the stage for Night 2, Bloodline Rules in place as a consequence.

Roman Reigns lost his title of SmackDown’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes, bringing his 1316-day reign to an upsetting end. Reigns would not make a media appearance following the loss, skipping out on all celebratory and press events in the wake of his defeat. However, the wrestler made a post the following day, something that has ignited widespread speculation about what is to come for Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns took to social media the day after the loss

After losing the match (and the title) to Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns was completely AWOL from events and after-match releases, only servicing a day later on his socials. The post saw the wrestler using the treadmill, with the simple caption “Yesterday I mourned. Today is Day 1.”

The Wrestler posted the same message to the rest of his social media platforms, inviting a lot of support from fans and colleagues alike. Among those who had commented on this post was his fellow Bloodline member, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The Rock’s comment has caused a lot of speculation, including the fact that Cody Rhodes is now on the Bloodline radar, something that could be a lot of trouble come WrestleMania 41.

Roman Reigns is preparing to make something big

Speculations have been running wild since the post was made by Roman Reigns, with fans really wondering what is going to happen after the end of Reigns’ historic run.

Fans are already speculating about the return of the Chief, and WrestleMania 41 could become the hotly anticipated sequel to the mayhem that was WrestleMania 40, which featured not just Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns on Night 2, but given the Bloodline rules, got a slew of other big names involved, like The Rock, John Cena, and The Undertaker.

Fans can only anticipate and speculate about what happens now, but given all that is set up thanks to the events of this iteration of Wrestlemania. The coming events might see The Bloodline trying to reclaim Reigns’s title, given that they are not above imposing their rules wherever they can. Further, there could be an influx of support for both sides, as was seen in the event, drawing in fans and audiences alike.
