Steph Curry has one of the best basketball IQ’s we’ve seen in a long time.
In addition to his insane shooting skills and swiftness in attacking the paint, Curry’s ability to command his teammates on the court is a large reason why he is a four-time NBA champion.
This intelligence surely comes from Curry having studied the game for decades, starting way back when his father was an NBA player.
But it appears that Curry has always been more concerned about studying basketball than he has been about studying in school.
Steph Curry went to Charlotte Christian High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Curry, who graduated in 2006, led his team to three conference titles and three state playoff appearances on the basketball court.
Although all his intense focus on basketball caused his high school GPA to suffer.
It has been reported that Steph Curry had a 2.5 GPA in high school.
Of course, Curry’s $48 million salary this season with the Warriors goes to show that it doesn’t matter now how much Curry studied in high school.
But we have to believe that Curry hopes his children will do better in the classroom when they reach high school. That is, of course, unless they opt for a professional basketball career.
